La Compagnie Business Class to France or Italy
It's not the most well known carrier, but all seats on La Compagnie flights are in business class. As they often do for Valentine's Day, they're running a promo that provides a discount if you buy two tickets.
It's not a partner with any other airlines so you won't earn miles but it's a solid option for a non-stop between Newark and Italy or France.
If you like to nest tickets, you can start from Europe to get a lower fare.
Let's get into the details!

Flight Experience
La Compagnie's business class cabin is arranged in a 2-2 layout. Seats are lie-flat but there's not a ton of privacy in this single-aisle cabin. The food and crew both get solid marks and the free WiFi is a nice perk.

Nesting Tickets: A Quick Primer
Let's say you book two round-trip tickets. Ticket A is a round-trip ticket from the US to Europe while Ticket B is a round-trip ticket from Europe to the US.
Here's how it would work:
US to Europe: Ticket A
Europe to US: Ticket B
US to Europe: Ticket B
Europe to US: Ticket A
Ticket B is nested within Ticket A. It takes a little planning but this can allow you to take advantage of two fare deals in which one is a better deal from Europe and one is a better deal from the US.
You could also book Ticket A as an award ticket or even book two separate one-way award tickets to cover the Ticket A slots.

Final Thoughts
Paris and Milan both have plenty to offer and are great jumping off points if you want to see other parts of Europe. While I wouldn't call this a screaming deal, it's certainly worth a look if it's a convenient option.
Happy booking!
