Singapore Airlines To Germany From 57K Points |
| Singapore is out with another round of Spontaneous Escapes for dates in March. Space is limited on the outbound, but there’s plenty on the return. You can also find space through February 2026 and some space is available with Aeroplan.
I’ll note that this a particularly good option if you need a flight back to the U.S. this summer as there are tons of dates available. If you need a flight to Europe this summer, July has a nice bit of space!
Now, let’s get into it! |

| Book Your Stay With VIP Perks |
| | | | Flight Experience Singapore Airlines operates a Boeing 777 on the JFK route and an A350 on the Houston route. The business class cabin on both aircraft is arranged in a 1-2-1 layout so each seat has direct aisle access on both aircraft.
While the seats are lie-flat, you have to sleep diagonally in the bed position because of the way the foot wells are situated. If you're taller, you might find this a touch annoying. The bulkhead seats have more legroom, esp. in the bed position.
The crews are known for being proactive and friendly. Some would say they're among the best in the air. Similarly, the inflight catering gets high marks.
Use the online Book the Cook feature to ensure you get your preferred meal.

| Best Ways To Book
Singapore: Promo Rate Is Your Best Option
Singapore KrisFlyer’s main advantage is access to more award space. However, Spontaneous Escapes also makes KrisFlyer’s rate of 56,700 miles your best option!
You can transfer points from several banks: Amex, Capital One, Chase, and Citi. However, Aeroplan could still be a better option as you’ll see below.
Aerpolan: Generally Your Best Option
If you’re not booking a promo date, Aeroplan is your best option at 60,000 points one-way.
If you have the Chase Aeroplan Card, you’ll get a 10% bonus when transferring Ultimate Rewards points which means you’d only need 55,000 Chase points.
If you have the Aeroplan Card and are going to use Chase points, then Aeroplan will be your best option even during the promo dates. |
| | How To Search
Search with Singapore Air: Log into your account Select Redeem flights Enter origin/destination Select date(s) From calendar, you can select one-way Select class of service Select number of passengers
If you're concerned about points transfer delays, you can call and see if they'll hold the award space. If an agent won’t put space on hold, hang up and call again. Search with Aeroplan:
Select "Book with points Aeroplan" Select one-way or round-trip Enter origin/destination Select date(s) Select number of passengers
Happy booking! |
