| | EgyptAir Business Class, From 58K Points | It doesn’t get talked about much, but EgyptAir can be a practical option if you want to visit Egypt or other countries in Africa. With its hub in Cairo, you can connect to destinations such as Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa, and plenty more. | Now, candidly, the inflight product isn’t going to impress you but there’s plenty of business class award space and you can book up to four seats. For the best inflight experience, I would take a look at the LAX route which has their newest aircraft and best business class product. | Chase is also running a 20% transfer bonus to Aeroplan, so you can drop the total required to 58,000 points one-way. If you have the Chase Aeroplan card, you can get an extra 10% bonus when you transfer 50,000+ Chase points. | I recommend working with a guide to arrange your activities and experiences in Egypt. I’ve worked with the same guide on both my trips and referred him to many subscribers and clients. I’d be happy to share his details with you if you’re planning a trip. | Now, let’s get into it! | Let me know if you book! |

| Flight Experience | Let’s start with this. Avoid their Boeing 777-300ERs as the cabin is arranged in a 2-3-2 layout and seats are angled-flat. There shouldn’t be any on North American routes but it’s worth double-checking. | On their Boeing 787-9 and new Airbus A350, you’ll find a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone cabin layout with lie-flat seats and direct aisle access for everyone. This is the product you want. | The experience on the A350 will have more modern IFE screens as well as inflight Wi-Fi (TBD on how good it is). Neither the 787-9 nor the 777-300 have inflight Wi-Fi so you’ll want to download some shows and movies prior to departure. | The service and catering aren’t particularly impressive, so this is really about getting lie-flat seats and an efficient journey to your destination. | | How To Search | Search with Air Canada: | Select Roundtrip or One-way Select the number of passengers Toggle Book with Aeroplan points Enter the origin & destination Select your dates Run the search
| Once you know the exact dates you want, run a search with the program you'll use to book. Don’t transfer points until you confirm that program sees the award space. | Happy booking! |
