On the 77L, business class is arranged in a 2-2-2 layout. While only some seats have direct aisle access, each seat is lie-flat. The service and food get solid marks overall. You’ll also have extensive inflight entertainment options.
Note: Many are familiar with the 2-3-2 layout on Emirates’ Boeing 777. That layout is on the Boeing 777-300. The flight out of Montreal is on a Boeing 777-200 (77L). |
| Best Ways To Book
Emirates: Access To More Award Space, But At A Cost
If you can swing a round-trip ticket, it’s possible to book for 120,000 Emirates miles. If you only need a one-way ticket, Emirates still provides the best option at 96,000 miles. That’s a bit steep for me, but it’s useful in a pinch.
It’s even better since Emirates doesn’t crush you with $1,000+ in carrier-imposed surcharges like they do on flights that touch Dubai.
Note: When booking a round-trip award, not all dates will have the saver rate of 120,000 miles. Sometimes, it will be 156,000 miles saver in one direction, flex in the other direction. You might also see 192,000 miles which is simply the one-way flex rate in each direction. |
