| It’s been a bit since I sent an alert for business class award space to Brazil, but that changes today! LATAM has business class space for up to 8 people from four U.S. airports through the end of the year.

LATAM operates a Boeing 787-9 on this route with the updated business class cabin. The cabin has a staggered 1-2-1 layout which means all seats are lie-flat and have direct aisle access. This layout provides more privacy than the older 2-2-2 layout. The catering and crew both get solid marks.

| Best Ways To Book
Alaska Airlines: Great Rate, Amex Transfer Via Hawaiian
If you have Amex (via Hawaiian Airlines) or Bilt points, 50,000 Alaska miles is a great way to book a one-way award. From LAX, the rate is a bit steeper at 60,000 miles one-way.
You can also include a stopover in Sao Paulo on your way to another destination. Just keep in mind the total flight distance could change the award rate.
Cathay Pacific: Great Rate, Easy To Earn
While Cathay requires more miles at 63,000 one-way, it’s easier to earn Asia Miles via transfer partners such as you can transfer Capital One and Citi points in addition to Amex and Bilt points.
Avios: Best Chase Option
It’s not the most straightforward option, Avios are your best bet with Chase points. To get the best rate, you can transfer Chase points to British Airways then combine Avios in your Finnair Plus account.
Finnair Plus requires 75,500 Avios for the one-way so it’s not the best option out there, but it’s the best option if you have Chase points.
