Condor Business Class, Up To 9 Seats

Condor has up to nine seats in business class on many of their routes to Germany. You can find dates throughout the schedule, however some routes only have space next summer.

Yes, I’ve sent a bunch of space to Germany recently. However, Germany is a great jumping off point to other parts of Europe and summer award space is just too good to pass up! Remember, it’s much easier to book summer flights now than later!

Now, let’s get into it!

Flight Experience

Condor's new A330-900neo has a staggered 1-2-1 business class cabin layout. Every seat is lief-flat and has direct aisle access.

I haven't flown this product yet, but reviews suggest that the entire experience is quite impressive from food to amenities to entertainment options.

Upgrade To A Prime Seat

For an even better experience, you can pay just over $200 to select one of the four first row seats. These seats have more space, the bed is bigger, and you have an ottoman rather than a footwell. Basically, you have a lot more space.

On top of that, you get PJs, a nicer amenity kit, a snack basket, free text messaging, and a larger IFE screen.

Best Ways To Book

Alaska: Best Award Rate + Amex/Hawaiian Transfer

Alaska miles aren’t the easiest to earn, but you can transfer Bilt Rewards so that helps. With rates between 45,000 and 70,000 miles, this is the best option.

However, if you have Amex points, this is where things get fun. You can transfer Amex Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines then combine your miles in your Alaska Mileage Plan account.

Emirates: More Miles, Easier To Earn For Some

Emirates provides a solid option if you have Capital One, Chase, or Citi points, especially from the northeast. Since it's easy to earn Emirates miles, you might prefer this option so you can save Alaska miles for other flights.

How To Search

Here's how to run the search with Alaska:

  1. If you want to book a one-way, check "One-way"

  2. Check "Use miles"

  3. Enter your origin & destination

  4. Select your dates

  5. Select number of passengers

  6. Run the search

  7. Complete the booking

If award space doesn't display on the Emirates site, call to book (800-777-3999).

Happy booking!
