| | Singapore Business Class To Europe, Up To 8 Seats |
| Well, I was waiting for Singapore Airlines to announce its monthly Spontaneous Escapes promo before sending space. However, it seems they’re not running the promo this month.
That’s okay, though. There’s plenty of space on both of their fifth freedom routes.

| Book Your Stay With VIP Perks |
| | | | Flight Experience Singapore Airlines operates a Boeing 777 on the JFK route and an A350 on the Houston route. The business class cabin on both aircraft is arranged in a 1-2-1 layout so each seat has direct aisle access on both aircraft.
While the seats are lie-flat, you have to sleep diagonally in the bed position because of the way the foot wells are situated. If you're taller, you might find this a touch annoying. The bulkhead seats have more legroom, esp. in the bed position.
The crews are known for being proactive and friendly. Some would say they're among the best in the air. Similarly, the inflight catering gets high marks.
Use the online Book the Cook feature to ensure you get your preferred meal.

| Best Ways To Book
Air Canada: Great Rate + Chase Transfer Bonus
Aeroplan is your best at 60,000 points for a one-way award from JFK or 70,000 points from IAH. If you include a connection, you can expect to need 70,000 points.
With the Chase 20% transfer bonus, you’ll only need transfer the following: JFK: 50,000 Chase points IAH: 59,000 Chase points
If you have the Chase Aeroplan Card, you can also get a 10% transfer bonus when you transfer 50,000+ Chase points. Paired with the 20% transfer bonus you’d only need 47,000 Chase points from JFK or 54,000 from IAH.
You can also transfer points from Amex, Bilt, or Capital One.
Singapore: Access To More Award Space
Singapore KrisFlyer’s main advantage is access to more award space. If you can’t find space with Aeroplan, 81,000 KrisFlyer miles will be your best bet. It’s not a great one-way rate, but it could be worse.
The other advantage is that you can transfer points from Amex, Capital One, Chase, and Citi. However, transfers aren't usually instant, especially if you haven't transferred to Singapore previously. However, Capital One transfers are often instant. |
| | How To Book
If booking with Singapore KrisFlyer, search with Singapore Airlines. Go to Singapore Air Log into your account Select Redeem flights Enter origin/destination Select date(s) Select class of service Select number of passengers
If you're concerned about delays when transferring points to Singapore, you can call and see if they'll hold the award space.
Whether you can get them to hold award space really depends on the phone agent so be ready to hang up, call again (HUCA). If they refuse, stay friendly and don't argue.
If booking with Aeroplan points, I would search with Air Canada as Singapore Airlines sometimes provides additional award space to KrisFlyer members. To search with Aeroplan: Go to Air Canada Select "Book with points Aeroplan" Select one-way or round-trip Enter origin/destination Select date(s) Select number of passengers Run search

| Final Thoughts
Whether you’re booking a last minute trip to Europe this summer, fall, winter, or next spring, Singapore Airlines has plenty of business class award space to get you there.
Happy booking! |
