Flight Experience
The A321LR cabin is arranged in 1-1/2-2 layout. Seats 3A, 3K, 5A, and 5K are solo seats that offer maximum privacy while the other rows allow couples to sit next to each other. It's the same layout as the older JetBlue Mint product.

Best Ways To Book
Avios: Great Option With Some Quirks
With the Amex 30% transfer bonus to British Airways, this is an even better option than usual. You can book one-way with 39,000 Amex points on off-peak dates or 47,000 Amex points on peak dates.
While British Airways will require steep surcharges, you can avoid them by booking via Avios. To do so, log into your Aer Lingus account on Avios and link your BA account. This will allow you to transfer points to BA to take advantage of the 30% Amex transfer bonus.
This is still a solid option if you have Amex, Capital One, or Citi points. If you want to use Citi points, you'll need to transfer to Qatar then combine into your BA account before moving them to your Avios account. It's a bit tedious but it works.
Click here for the Aer Lingus Peak/Off-peak calendar.
Alaska Mileage Plan: Great Option, Tough To Earn
Alaska miles are a great way to book at 60,000 miles for a one-way and no surcharges. If you have the miles to book or a ton of Marriott points to transfer, this could be the way to go.
United MileagePlus: More Points, Lower Taxes/Fees
If you'd prefer to use more Bilt or Chase points and save some cash, United is your best bet but it'll require 88,000 miles for a one-way ticket.

How To Book
You can use United or Alaska's site to run a calendar search and see your options. Here's how to run the search with Alaska:
- If you want to book a one-way, check "One-way"
- Check "Use miles"
- Enter your origin & destination
- Select your dates
- Select number of passengers
- Run the search
- Complete the booking
If you want to see a calendar of options or include a stopover (multi-city) search, you'll want to use this page.
Once you know the exact dates you want, you can run the search with the program you'll be using to book. As always, I recommend confirming the program you're using sees the award space before you transfer points.

Final Thoughts
If you're looking for a trip to Ireland (or somewhere else in Europe) next spring or summer, this is a great opportunity to lock in business class award space before most people start booking.
Happy Booking!
