Starlux Business Class to Taipei, Up To 4 Seats
Starlux Airlines rarely releases business class award space for two people to Alaska Mileage Plan at saver level (the fewest points you can use), so I wanted to flag a flag a few dates for a last minute trip to Taiwan.
Please keep in mind that there's only award space on the outbound.

Flight Experience
The business class cabin is arranged in a 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout. Each seat is lie-flat, has direct aisle access, and a privacy door.
I flew Starlux to Los Angeles last August. The crew was friendly and proactive throughout the flight and the food is great. The food was really impressive and they served Bollinger champagne.
The amenity kit is a mini hardshell suitcase but the contents are standard. The PJs looked comfy but even the largest size was too small for me.

Best Ways To Book
Alaska Mileage Plan: The Only Option
Alaska isn't just the only way to book. It's also a solid option for a business class flight to Asia at 75,000 miles one-way.
I did not see award space at the 75,000-mile rate when including a connection on Alaska nor did I see connections to other cities in Asia.

You can use United or Alaska's site to run a calendar search and see your options. Here's how to run the search with Alaska:
- If you want to book a one-way, check "One-way"
- Check "Use miles"
- Enter your origin & destination
- Select your dates
- Select number of passengers
- Run the search
- Complete the booking

Final Thoughts
There are limited dates available, but it's rare to see two seats in business class on Starlux. If you've been looking for an excuse to visit Taiwan or even somewhere else in Asia, this is a great way to get there!
