| Book Your Stay In Tokyo With VIP Perks |
| | | Flight Experience Japan Airlines has a reputation for great service so a business class flight should be more than enjoyable. The biggest thing to keep in mind is that JAL operates different aircraft to/from North America.
The business class cabin on the 787-9 layout is 2-2-2. Each seat is lie-flat and has direct aisle access. Window seats provide a ton of privacy and are preferred by many.

| Best Ways To Book
British Airways: Amex Transfer Bonus, Easy To Earn British Airways’ rate of 77,250 Avios one-way from the west coast is solid as it is considering how easy it is earn the necessary points. However, this is a fantastic deal with the 30% Amex transfer bonus as you’d only need 60,000 Amex points. Plus, the taxes/fees are reasonable.
American: Great Rate, No Surcharges, Tough To Earn
With the loss of Bilt as a transfer partner, it’s much harder to earn American miles. You’re really left with co-branded Barclays and Citi cards to earn miles directly. That means American’s rate of 60,000 miles is great, but tough to access for many.
Alaska: Solid Rate, Best Bilt Option, No Surcharges
If you have Bilt points, Alaska is your best bet at 60,000 miles one-way.
Qantas: Capital One Transfer Bonus, Reasonable Surcharges, Easy To Earn
With the Capital One 20% transfer bonus, Qantas could be a useful option for you. You’d need to transfer 62,500 Capital One Miles to book the Seattle route or 75,000 Capital One Miles to book the LAX or San Francisco routes. |
| | How To Search
Here's how to run the search with Alaska: If you want to book a one-way, check "One-way" Check "Use miles" Enter your origin & destination Select your dates Select number of passengers Run the search Complete the booking
Before you transfer points, search with the airline program you’ll use to book.
Happy booking! |
