Japan Airlines First Class From 165K Points |
| JetBlue recently partnered with Japan Airlines and you can use TrueBlue points to book first class flights. While we’re only seeing space for one person, we wanted to share since premium cabin space to Japan has been so tough to find.
Even if this doesn’t work for you right now, this a great option to keep in mind if Chase or Citi run a transfer bonus promo to JetBlue TrueBlue. Yes, the rate is steep, but other programs aren’t even showing the award space.

| Flight Experience
Japan Airlines first class on the 777 is an amazing experience despite a very old seat. The cabin only has eight seats and is arranged in a 1-2-1 layout. You can expect great catering (especially out of Tokyo), some of the best service in the sky, and impressive champagne and Japanese whiskey options.
However, the best inflight experience is on the A350 out of JFK and DFW (and soon LAX). The cabin is arranged in a 1-1-1 layout and each seat has a ton of space. It also has the largest 4K TV in commercial aviation. The seats also have great tech including wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and in-seat speakers. |
