American Air Business Class to London, Up To 9 Seats
Last week, I sent first class award space on American. However, since business class is more readily available, I thought I'd share it as well!
You can find dates this summer as well as early 2025. Out of JFK, you can also find plenty of dates this fall.

Flight Experience
American operates couple of 1-2-1 business class cabin layouts on these routes. I prefer the their reverse herringbone option. The other cabin layout has front and rear facing seats. It's not bad, just not what I prefer.

Best Ways To Book
Alaska: Great One-way Rates, Free Stopover, No Surcharges
At 45,000 miles one-way from the east coast and 55,000 miles from Dallas, Alaska mies provide a great option to book with no surcharges and include a stopover. This is one of your best options if you have Bilt points.
Please keep in mind that you cannot connect on other partners and your total flight distance can impact the award rate.
American: Solid Rates, More Award Space, No Surcharges
With Bilt as a transfer partner (until June 24), 54,000/62,000 American miles one-way during the winter/summer are a solid option. Plus, you may get access to additional dates with award space than partner programs.
Avios: Easy To Earn, Great 30% Transfer Bonus
If you have Citi points, Qatar Airways is running a 30% transfer bonus promo. If you book with Qatar Avios, you'd only need to transfer 48,000 Citi points to get the 62,000 Avios you need to book. Keep in mind that taxes/fees will be ~$326.
You could book with other Avios programs, but British Airways will tack on steep surcharges while Finnair requires 65,000 Avios.
Cathay: Easier To Earn, Reduced Surcharges
At 63,000 Cathay miles is a solid way to book with reduced surcharge if you have Amex, Bilt, Capital One, and Citi points so it's easy to acquire the necessary miles.
Qantas: Easier To Earn, Reduced Surcharges
This is a great option from Boston or New York at 57,000 points one-way with reduced surcharges. You can transfer points from Amex, Capital One, and Citi so it's easy to get the points you need.
