Alaska: Amazing Option with Amex or Bilt Points
If you have Amex or Bilt points, Alaska Mileage Plan is a great option at 35,000 miles one-way. Please note that connections could increase the miles required.
Note: Amex points transfer to Hawaiian Airlines, but you can then move them to your Alaska account.
Virgin: Amazing Option with Chase/Citi Transfer Bonuses
At 50,000 points, Virgin Atlantic’s one-way rate isn’t as good as Alaska’s but it’s a solid option when you consider all of its transfer partners. Plus, with the Chase transfer bonus of 30%, you’d only need 39,000 points for a one-way award. |
