Turkish Airlines Business Class From 60K Points |
| Today, we have Turkish Airlines business class award space for two people and there are a bunch of routes with space this fall. You can even find dates into January 2026!
If you're looking for flights to Turkey, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Maldives, etc, for the holidays, this is a great option!
You may have seen that lifemiles has increased the one-way award rate to Europe from 69,000 miles to a steep 80,000 miles. I checked again just before sending this alert and the rate to Istanbul is still 69,000 miles, but it could change at any time.
Now, let’s get into it! |

| Book Your Hotel With VIP Perks |
| Perks can include a room upgrade, daily breakfast, $100 property credit, and more. |
| | | | Flight Experience The star of the show is the inflight catering and the lounge in Istanbul. While inflight food can be tough to get right, Turkish is known for doing just that.
For the most privacy, try to find space on a Boeing 787-9 or Airbus A350-900. The business class cabin layouts on these aircraft are 1-2-1 which means a direct aisle access plus a lie-flat seat for everyone.
The business class cabins on the Airbus A330 and Boeing 777 have a 2-2-2 and 2-3-2, respectively. These layouts lack privacy but the seats are comfortable. |
| | | Lifemiles: Great One-Way Option, No Surcharges, Amex Transfer Bonus
At 69,000 miles one-way + no surcharges, lifemiles provides a great way to book if you have Amex, Capital One, or Citi points whether you need a non-stop, connection within the US, or a connection to somewhere else in Europe.
Plus with lifemiles 15% bonus on transfers from Amex, it brings the rate down to just 60,000 points one-way.
ANA: Great Round-Trip Award Rate, Reasonable Surcharges
With Amex points, you can't beat 100,000 miles round-trip. Just keep in mind that you can only book round-trip, you'll be on the hook for surcharges, and Amex transfers can take a couple of days to process.
Aeroplan: Great One-Way Option, No Surcharges
Aeroplan is a solid option at 70,000 points from the east coast and midwest if you have Amex, Bilt, Capital One, or Chase points. If you depart from the west coast or Texas, you'll need 90,000 points. Similarly, connections could bump you up to the 90,000-point rate. |
| If you have the Chase Aeroplan Card, you can also get a 10% bonus when you transfer 50,000+ Chase points. In that case, you’d need 64,000 Chase points to get 70,000 Aeroplan points.
Use use GCmap to calculate your total flight distance and double-check Aeroplan's zone-based chart. Stopovers can be included for 5,000 miles on a one-way.
United: From West Coast With Connections & Bilt Points
If you have Bilt points, United has a 2,000-point advantage over Aeroplan at 88,000 miles one-way from the west coast, Texas, or with many connections. You can include a free one-way flight within a region if you book round-trip. |
| How To Search
Search with United: Select Advanced search Choose to show price in miles Select Roundtrip or One-way Enter the origin & destination Select Nonstop only (if you don't need a connection) Select the number of passengers Select your dates or choose Flexible dates and choose a month Select Business Run the search
Once you find space, search with the program you want to use to book. Don’t transfer points until you confirm award space is available.
Happy booking! |
