Business Class to Europe from $1,587 (Summer)

Business class award space to Europe this summer really tightened up in early March (as expected), but Air France just released some excellent cash fares and some Star Alliance carriers matched them (is you're okay with 2 stops).

Before these fares get pulled, let's get into it!

Important Notes

I've added a Current Points Transfer Bonuses page to the site. If you want to check what banks are running transfer promos to airlines and hotels, check it out.

Flight Experience

On Air France's A330, you'll find a 2-2-2 layout with lie-flat seats. If you want direct aisle access and you don't want someone to step over you, the middle section is your best bet. If you have a travel companion though, you might prefer two seats by a window.

While I didn't have an awesome experience on my flight, I generally hear good things about the catering in business class on Air France.

Where To Credit The Flights

The long-haul segment is Z fare class while the intra-EU segment isJ fare class You can use Where To Credit to check which options would earn the most redeemable miles or help you earn elite status.

For those who just want earn redeemable miles, I think your best options are Flying Blue or Virgin Atlantic as you can supplement with several transferable points programs. For those earning Delta status, you can credit these flights.

Use GCMap to check the flight distance and calculate redeemable miles.

Final Thoughts

If you're still trying to figure out summer travel to Europe, this is an excellent option and worth a positioning flight. I wouldn't expect this fare to last too long so figure out your plans quickly!

Happy booking!
