| Book Your Stay With VIP Perks |
| | | Flight Experience Air Europa’s 2-2-2 business class cabin layout isn’t my favorite since only some seats have direct aisle access. However, seats are lie-flat so you can at least be comfy. Crews are generally friendly and the inflight catering to be solid.
On some dates, you’ll find the newer 1-2-1 reverse herringbone layout. For the best experience and most privacy, try to book flights with this cabin configuration. |
| Best Ways To Book
Flying Blue: Great Rate If They See The Space
If a Flying Blue phone agent can see space, this is your best option at an excellent 43,000 miles one-way. You can transfer points from Amex, Bilt, Capital One, Chase, and Citi. Please note that Flying Blue generally can only book two seats.
You can include a stopover on a one-way, but the rate might increase.
Etihad Guest: More Award Space, Solid Rate, Transfer Bonus
Etihad is the only program showing award space online and is likely the only program that will allow you to book more than two award seats. While 80,000 miles one-way isn’t the best rate to Europe, the ability to book up to 9 seats is a big advantage.
If you have Capital One Miles, you can get a 40% bonus when you transfer 50,000+ miles to Etihad. That means you’d only need to transfers 57,200 Capital One Miles.
Traditionally, the bonus points have transferred instantly when Etihad runs this promo. Just note that the terms state the bonus points might not transfer until April 15, 2025.
Keep in ind that Etihad has rough cancellation fees: 21+ days from departure: 25% of miles redeemed 8 to 21 days from departure: 50% of miles redeemed 1-7 days from departure: 75% of miles redeemed Within 24 hours: 100% of miles redeemed

| | How To Search
Search with Etihad: Select One way or Round trip Select number of passengers Select class of service Enter origin and destination Select date(s) Select Pay with miles Click Search flights
Since Air France and KLM aren’t showing award space online, you might try calling Flying Blue to see if they see the award space. The US number is 800-375-8723.
Happy booking! |
