Best Ways To Book
Virgin: Best Non-stop Rate, Tons of Transfer Partners
For a non-stop, Virgin points is the clear winner at 50,000 points one-way. Plus, you can transfer points from any bank program.
Flying Blue: Solid Option, Good Stopover Option
Flying Blue doesn't have as set rate for Delta flights between the US and Europe. Boston to Dublin is 58,500 miles one-way but JFK to Munich is 78,500 miles. Expect to need more miles on longer routes.
Where Flying Blue might be better is if you want to include a stopover.

- Select Advanced search
- Show Price in Points
- Show Fares For: Upper Class
- Click the arrow to search
- To expand 7-day view to 30 days, select Price Calendar
- To find Delta flights, Filter for Direct
- Select a flight
- Click Continue
- Choose seats
- Select review and pay
- Log into your account to complete booking
