SAS Business Class to Sweden from $2,007

It's rare to see such a low business class fare on SAS. If you're willing to book via an online travel agency (OTA), you might even get that fare down to $1,816.

A few dates are available this December as well as next March, but June and July of next year are your best bet to find this fare.

Best Ways To Book

There are several OTAs which have this round-trip business class fare listed between $1,816 and $1,836. However, I don't have experience with them. You can save nearly $300 , but please make sure you read all of the terms & conditions and are comfortable dealing with them.

If you want to use points, you'll get the best rate with either the Amex Business Platinum or Chase Sapphire Reserve.

Flight Experience

SAS uses an Airbus A321neo on the Boston to Copenhagen segment. The business class cabin is arranged in a combo 2-2/1-1 layout. Each seat is lie-flat but try to grab one of the solo seats so you have direct aisle access. That way you won't have a neighbor who needs to climb over year.

I've flown SAS a couple of times and have found the service and catering to be solid but unspectacular. If nothing else, the lie-flat seat will be nice on the 8.5 hour flight. Plus, the lounge in Copenhagen is nice.

Where To Credit The Flights

These fares will book under J fare class You can use Where To Credit to check which options would earn the most redeemable miles or help you earn elite status. I would suggest choosing a program to that partners with a transferable points program with which you regularly earn points.

I'll flag Air Canada Aeroplan, Avianca LifeMiles, Turkish Miles&Smiles, and United MileagePlus as options to consider.

Use GCMap to check the flight distance and calculate redeemable miles.

Final Thoughts

If Sweden is on your list, this could be just what you need to get there from the east coast. With dates available next summer, this is also a great way to lock in summer travel before everyone else starts booking.

Happy booking!
