Cathay First Class for 2 (Spring/Summer 2024)
Run, don't walk! There's a ton of Cathay first class award space!
It's been a few months since I sent Cathay business class award space, but this time I'm seeing even more dates with space plus a ton of first class space for 2 people through next summer.
It's taking a bit to pull all of the dates with business class on each route so, while I work on that, I wanted to get you the first class award space ASAP since it's a rare find.
If Hong Kong isn't on your list to visit, it's a great jumping off point in Asia if you want to visit Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, and more!

Cathay's first class cabin is arranged in a 1-1-1 layout so everyone has direct aisle access and a massive lie-flat seat. The bedding is some of my favorite in the sky. You can expect a solid meal and great champagne. If you fly out of Hong Kong, make some time for a lounge visit and check out The Pier

Cathay: Your Only Option
While Cathay's award rates were recently devalued, they're our only option to book this one. It really just comes down to whether you want to transfer Amex, Bilt, Capital One, or Citi points.

How To Book
To search with Cathay's site:
- Go to Cathay Pacific's award booking page
- Select One-way or Return (aka round-trip)
- Select origin and destination
- Select cabin class and number of passengers
- Select date(s)
- Select your flight and click next
If you want to use Asia Miles and include a connecting flight on Alaska or American, you'll need to call (866-892-2598) to complete the booking.
