TAP Air Portugal Business Class to Europe from $1,685

It's been a bit since I sent a TAP fare deal, but this is a great fare from Boston to Lisbon and Porto. You can also use Amex or Chase points to book this one for fewer points than most award tickets to Europe.

You can visit the Azores or Madeira for an extra $50 or Amsterdam for an extra  $200. You can even include a stopover in Lisbon at no extra cost.

3 Sign-Up Bonuses Ending Soon

The $900/90,000-point Ink Business Unlimited and Ink Business Cash offers ending soon. The Chase Freedom Unlimited's offer for unlimited matched cash back for 12 months is also ending soon. If you apply, these are my links. Always appreciate the support!

Best Ways To Book

Amex can finally book TAP flights again so that's great news for people who have the Business Platinum and want to use points. The Chase travel portal also has the fare so you can redeem fewer points than you'd need for many business class award tickets. Plus, you'll earn miles on the flights.

Book Luxury Hotels With Perks

Book with perks such as room upgrades, daily breakfast, and a $100 property credit via our self-service booking portal. If you want to book a Four Seasons or Rosewood property, you can submit a request here.

Flight Experience

TAP Air Portugal operates an Airbus A321neo on this route with a business class cabin arranged in a combo 1-1/2-2 layout similar to the older JetBlue Mint product.

The food won't blow you away but the crews are friendly - not to mention a lie-flat always makes things better!

Where To Credit The Flights

These fares will book under J fare class You can use Where To Credit to check which options will earn the most redeemable miles.

I would suggest choosing a program that partners with a transferable points program that you use. I'll flag Air Canada Aeroplan, Avianca LifeMiles, Turkish Miles&Smiles, and United MileagePlus as options to consider.

If you have elite status with a Star Alliance carrier, you can use this fare to earn status qualifying miles, points, dollars, etc.

Use GCMap to check the flight distance and calculate redeemable miles.

Final Thoughts

TAP often has cheaper business class fares to Europe than other airlines, but this is a particularly good one. If you're looking for a trip early next year, this could be just what you need!

Happy booking!
