Singapore Airlines Business Class, Up to 6 Seats
I love fifth freedom flights and Singapore Airlines' flight between New York and Frankfurt is one of my favorites. While Singapore no longer operates an A380 on the route, business class on their Boeing 777 is still a nice experience.
With so many dates available, you can pretty much pick when you want to fly!
Now, let's get into it!

Flight Experience
Singapore Airlines operates a Boeing 777. The business class cabin is arranged in a 1-2-1 layout so each seat has direct aisle access on both aircraft.
While the seats are lie-flat, you have to sleep diagonally in the bed position because of the way the foot wells are situated. If you're taller, you might find this a touch annoying. The bulkhead seats have a larger footwell.
The crews are known for being proactive and friendly. Some would say they're among the best in the air. Similarly, the inflight catering gets high marks.
Use the online Book the Cook feature to ensure you get your preferred meal.

Best Ways To Book
Singapore KrisFlyer: Access To More Award Space
While the KrisFlyer award rate of 81,000 miles one-way is higher than Aeroplan's rate, the access to additional award space might make the extra miles worth it.
Note: Transfers from banks and Marriott to Singapore aren't instant. Newer accounts have seen slower transfer times in the past. Plan on transfers taking up to 48 hours. Maybe, you'll get lucky and it'll take less than 12 hours!
Aeroplan: Best Award Rate
Aeroplan has the best award rate for a non-stop at 60,000 miles one-way.
The other benefit of booking with Aeroplan is that you can include connections on other partners. Please note that a connection will often bump up the rate to 70,000 Aeroplan points.
Note: Aeroplan's award chart includes a distance-based component. A stopover can be included on a one-way ticket for 5,000 points. You can use GCmap to calculate your total flight distance and double-check Aeroplan's zone-based chart.

How To Book
If booking with Aeroplan points, I would search with Air Canada as Singapore Airlines sometimes provides additional award space to KrisFlyer members. To search with Aeroplan:
- Go to Air Canada
- Select "Book with points Aeroplan"
- Select one-way or round-trip
- Enter origin/destination
- Select date(s)
- Select number of passengers
- Run search
If booking with Singapore KrisFlyer, search with Singapore Airlines.
- Go to Singapore Air
- Log into your account
- Select Redeem flights
- Enter origin/destination
- Select date(s)
- From calendar, you can select one-way
- Select class of service
- Select number of passengers
If you're concerned about delays when transferring points to Singapore, you can call and see if they'll hold the award space.
- US Line: 833-727-0118
- Singapore Line: +65 6223 8888
Whether you can get them to hold award space really depends on the phone agent so be ready to hang up, call again (HUCA). If they refuse, stay friendly and don't argue.

Final Thoughts
It's great to see some Singapore Airlines business class space to Europe and with so many dates! Whether you want to see some Christmas Markets, book a spring break trip, or enjoy summer in Europe, this one could work for you!
Happy booking!
