UPDATE #2: It seems there a few dates in early 2024 with space to Lille for only 1,500 miles one-way in business class. Montreal (YUL) has the most space. A few dates available from Toronto (YYZ).

I recently sent out award space from Toronto for 37,500 miles one-way, but this is another level. You can book Air France and/or KLM to select cities in Europe starting at 13,500 miles one-way.
I've shared dates for Athens and Zagreb below, but there are options in to other European cities as well (I've listed some). Whatever you do, move quickly!

Flight Experience
Both airlines operate a few different aircraft on these routes. Since the business class cabin layout depend on the aircraft, here's a quick rundwon:
Air France
Airbus A350: 1-2-1 similar to United Polaris
Boeing 787: 1-2-1 reverse herringbone
Boeing 777: 1-2-1 reverse herringbone
KLM
Boeing 787: 1-2-1 reverse herringbone
Boeing 777: 2-2-2
Airbus A330: 2-2-2
Personally, I prefer KLM's service and I love the Delft Blue houses you get at the end of the flight. However, some STTP Premium members have had great experiences on Air France as well.

Best Ways To Book
Flying Blue: Great Rates, Free Stopover, More Space
The saver level award rate between the US and Europe is already quite good at 50,000 miles on-way. However, the promo rate to/from Montreal is an amazing 37,500 miles.
Connections on partners will generally increase the award rate.
You can include a stopover but you'll need to call to book.

How To Book
You can pick either Air France or KLM's site and run your search. I use Air France and the process works like this:
- Select "Book with miles"
- Select "Log in"
- Sign into your account
- Enter your origin/destination
- Enter your travel date(s)
- Enter the number of passengers
- Enter the class of service
- Run the search
- Select your flights
- Click through to book
Transfers to Flying Blue are generally instant so you don't usually need to worry about award space vanishing. However, you can call and have them hold award space for you. The US number is 800 375-8723.
If you want to book a free stopover, you'll need to call to book.

Final Thoughts
If we thought Flying Blue's promo rate of 37,500 miles one-way from Toronto was great, this is absolutely wild. Jump on this quickly.
